Surfing was a big part of Eran Thomson's life until he was hit by a deadly cancer. It left him sick and beat up, but he never gave up. Then, with a Novartis medicine, Eran and his doctor drove his cancer into remission. No one can promise what the future holds for any cancer patient, but today Eran is back to surfing and living life.

Together with a fellow cancer survivor, Eran formed the organization Prepare to Live in 2001.
