Yves Teirlynck is Vice President of Internal Audit, North American Region at Novartis Corporation. He is responsible for all internal audit services, including independently evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls of Novartis Group Companies within the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, managing business relationships for all Group companies globally headquartered in the U.S. , participating in the global Internal Audit Management Committee, and providing summaries of regional audit services for the Audit and Compliance Committee.

Previously, Mr. Teirlynck was the Chief Financial Officer, Americas Region, and Vice President, Global Business Planning and Analysis, for CIBA Vision, based in Atlanta, and Global Head, Business Planning and Analysis, for Sandoz in Vienna, Austria.

Prior to joining Novartis in 2003, Mr. Teirlynck held several finance positions across different geographical regions at both Nike and Procter & Gamble. A graduate of the University of Gent, Belgium, Mr. Teirlynck earned degrees in Law and in Economics. He also holds a CFA professional certification.
